Basic Trigonometric Identities

sin2 θ + cos2 θ = 1

1 + tan2 θ = sec2 θ

1 + cot2 θ = cosec2 θ

Double Angle Formula

sin 2A = 2 sin A cos A

cos 2A = cos2 A - sin2 A
   = 2 cos2 A - 1
   = 1 - 2 sin2 A

tan 2A =

Compound Angle Formula

sin (A ± B) = sin A cos B ± cos A sin B

cos (A ± B) = cos A cos B ∓ sin A sin B

R Method
